Quick October Trip

We set off for a trip to New Hampshire without realizing it was the peak of the fall foliage display.  Living in Connecticut. it always seemed redundant to drive around to see more trees in the fall.  I was, however, surprised both by the flamboyant beauty of the colors and the number of cars out for a look.

These Photos were taken on Mount Washington and the trails nearby.  The colorful blob was in a gift shop window, and the doorway was located in Portland, Me.  I admired the tenacity of the vine growing along the downspout.  The lone tree seen making its stand on a bare rock caught my eye for the same reason.  The camera will never replace being there.
