I guess this is a good place to state my opinion on the practice of editing photos.
There is a school of thought which holds that a photograph is a record of the moment, that once the shutter closes, the act of photography is concluded, and subsequent editing compromises the purity of the image. I couldn’t agree more.
There are also those who feel that any and every method and technique is subservient to the final image, whether it’s before, during or after that fraction of a second during which the shutter moves. Again, I couldn’t agree more.
