478 Door

Shadows move quickly, especially late on a winter afternoon.  We forget, or maybe just don’t notice, just how fast the earth spins.

The shadows of the slats in the blinds across the room, together with the mesh of the window screens, slid so swiftly over the brush strokes and dust in the paint on the door, that each moment was a new image.  I worked in haste, and had to adjust for dimming light until the moment of exposure.  As unlikely at it seems, this is an action shot.
